DETAILED ITINERARY FOR TADOBA TOUR
Day 1: Nagpur to Tadoba National ParkArrival at Nagpur -Your journey begins in Nagpur, often called the ‘Orange City’ of India. It’s well-connected by air, making it a convenient starting point for your Tadoba adventure. Meeting the Representative Upon arrival at Nagpur airport at 07:50 hrs, you’ll meet our friendly representative who will assist you throughout your journey.
Journey to Tadoba National Park -After a brief meet-and-greet, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Tadoba National Park. The 130 km journey takes approximately 3 hours, offering glimpses of rural Maharashtra along the way.
Checking into the Lodge -Upon reaching Tadoba, you’ll check into your lodge, a perfect blend of comfort and wilderness.Overview of the Lodge The lodges here are designed to provide an authentic jungle experience while ensuring all modern amenities are at your disposal.Room Amenities and Services From cozy beds to clean bathrooms and room service, the lodges offer a comfortable stay amidst nature.Post-Lunch Jeep Safari After a delicious lunch at the lodge, it’s time for your first adventure – an afternoon Jeep safari.
Afternoon Safari -The afternoon safari is your first chance to explore the wild heart of Tadoba. With an experienced guide, you’ll navigate through the dense forest.Wildlife to Watch Out For Tadoba is home to a myriad of wildlife. Here’s what you can expect:Tigers With an estimated 115 tigers, Tadoba provides ample opportunities for sightings. Keep your cameras ready for a glimpse of these majestic creatures.Other Mammals From leopards and sloth bears to gaur (Indian Bison) and rusty spotted cats, Tadoba’s fauna is diverse.Bird Species Bird watchers will be delighted with over 200 species of birds, including the crested serpent eagle and paradise flycatcher.
Evening at the Lodge -After an exhilarating safari, return to the lodge for a relaxing evening.Dinner and Relaxation Enjoy a hearty dinner and unwind as you share stories of your sightings with fellow travelers.
Preparing for the Next Day -Get a good night’s sleep, for the next day promises more adventures.
Day 2 : Exploring Tadoba The second day is all about immersing yourself in the wilderness with morning and afternoon safaris.Morning Safari -Start your day early with a morning safari. The cool morning air and the forest waking up to a new day is a magical experience.
Lunch at the Resort -Return to the resort for lunch. It’s a great time to relax and recharge for the afternoon safari.
Afternoon Safari -Head out again in the afternoon to explore different parts of the park. Each safari offers new sights and experiences.
Day 3: Final Safari and DepartureMorning Jeep Safari -Make the most of your last morning with a final jeep safari. Each trip into the park increases your chances of spotting different wildlife.
Return to Nagpur -After the morning safari, it’s time to pack up and drive back to Nagpur. The 130 km journey takes around 3 hours.
Terms & Condtition
Booking Confirmation
Your booking will be confirmed once we receive your deposit 50 % or full payment, depending on the tour's requirements. Upon confirmation, we will send you an email detailing your safari itinerary and any additional information needed for your trip.
Final Payment
The final payment must be received no later than 15 days prior to the start of the safari. If the booking is made within 15 days of the departure date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellation by Wild India Safari
Wild India Safari reserves the right to cancel a tour due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, we will offer an alternative tour or a full refund.
Itinerary Changes
While we strive to adhere to the published itinerary, there may be circumstances that require changes, including but not limited to weather conditions, park regulations, or wildlife movements. We reserve the right to make alterations in the itinerary to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
Wildlife Sightings
We cannot guarantee specific wildlife sightings, as these depend on various factors beyond our control. However, our experienced guides will do their utmost to provide the best possible wildlife viewing experience.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to behave in a manner that is respectful to the local communities, wildlife, and fellow travelers. Any behavior deemed inappropriate may result in removal from the safari without a refund.
Refund Policy
Cancellation by Client
If you need to cancel your safari, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. The date of receipt
of your cancellation notice will determine the cancellation fees.
Cancellation Fees
- More than 90 days before departure: 25% of the total tour cost -90-60 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost
- Less than 45 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost
Refunds will be processed based on the cancellation fees outlined above.
As of recent reports, the reserve is home to over 115 tigers, making it a prime destination for tiger sightings
Each safari lasts approximately 4 hours.
TATR offers Jeep Safaris and Canter Safaris for exploring the core and buffer zones of the park. Morning and evening slots are available.
The best time to visit is from October to June, especially from March to May for higher chances of spotting tigers and other wildlife
TATR is situated in Chandrapur district, Maharashtra, approximately 150 km from Nagpur.
Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) is one of India’s oldest and largest tiger reserves located in Maharashtra, India. It is known for its thriving population of Bengal tigers and diverse wildlife.
